Legal
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 9 June 2026
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Stag Report website, applications and services (the “Service”), operated by Stag Report (“we”, “us”, “our”), of Unit 2A, Swordfish Business Park, Burscough, Ormskirk, Lancashire, L40 8JW, United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
The Service is intended for organising adult social occasions and is available only to persons aged 18 or over. By using the Service you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Your account
We use passwordless sign-in via a one-time link sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that email account secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. Tell us promptly at support@stagreport.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
3. The Service and roles
An event organiser (the “Best Man” or owner) may create an event dossier and invite others (“members”) to join. The owner controls the event’s settings and content. Members contribute content such as photographs, videos and entries. Each user is responsible for their own contributions.
4. Payment, access and refunds
Certain features — including the downloadable final report and any printed keepsake — are unlocked by a one-off payment per event, as described on our pricing page. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Prices include VAT where applicable.
Because the digital report is generated and made available to you immediately on unlocking, you agree that we may begin supplying it at once and you acknowledge that your statutory right to cancel a digital purchase may be lost once download or access has begun. This does not affect your legal rights where the Service is faulty or not as described. For any billing issue, contact hello@stagreport.com and we will deal with it fairly.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that infringes another person’s rights;
- upload images or videos of any person without a lawful basis to do so, or of anyone under 18 in any inappropriate context;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
- use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose.
We may suspend or remove content or accounts that breach these Terms or put others at risk.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process and display that content for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your event members (for example, compiling the final report and generating AI-written summaries). You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content and to share it with your event members.
7. AI-generated content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate light-hearted summaries, “roast” reports and speeches based on the entries in your event. This content is produced automatically for entertainment, may be inaccurate, and should not be relied upon as fact. You are responsible for reviewing anything you choose to share or publish.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, branding, text and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. The editorial guides published in The Handbook are our copyright and may not be reproduced in substantial part without permission.
9. Availability and disclaimers
We work hard to keep the Service available and reliable, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor that any third-party data (such as venue information from mapping providers) is accurate or current. Always verify bookings, opening hours and prices directly with the venue or provider.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss that is not a foreseeable result of our breach, for any business losses, or for the conduct of event members during a stag do. Our total liability to you arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant event.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK you may bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.
